Okay so I'm trying to record let's plays of DOS games, and for some reason the sound DOSBOX is generating is not being picked up by OBS.
My mixer lists: Desktop Audio, Mic/Aux. and Video Capture Device.
My Mic is a Samson C01U, and my video capture is my Logitech C270
Any Ideas why I can hear the audio from my speakers, but the program isn't recording it?

Many thanks for any and all help.

If you play some background music (like in youtube): is this kind of sound recorded?
OBS is picking up the audio interface you set up in the audio settings. Double check your default playback device in windows and check if it is the same in within the obs audio settings tab.

Yes, things like youtube and Window Media Player are picked up by OBS, but DOSBOX, and also as an example Ys: Memories of Celceta are not picked up by OBS

No, the configuration file only let's you select the mixer rate, mixer block size, and prebuffer. But even if I could change the output like you're asking about, it wouldn't explain why it does the same thing with Ys: Celceta.
Interestingly enough, it can pick up audio from Final Fantasy XII, but I have no idea what has it work while the others don't.
