Firstly, let me set the scene and also say thank you in advance!
I'm using OBS to record training sessions and also using the virtualcam plugin to allow me to use the scene in a Google hangout.
1) I bring in two c930 webcams
2) I bring in a Hauppage PVR2 capture device to capture a PC
3) I use the audio from one webcam set to monitor to my sound card
4) The output of the soundcard is then connected to the input and I use this mic source as part of the conferencing.
So, here is the issue:
When using the virtual webcam and microphone input for a Google hangout the audio on the OBS recording is VERY stuttery and completely unintelligible. The video recording is fine.
If I'm not using the Google hangout the video and audio recording from OBS is perfect.
I'd love to be able to record the session as well as video conference with it. As the issue is with audio, I'd guess the issue is with OBS and its interaction with Windows rather than the virtualcam plugin. Even if I'm not using the hangout I do not switch off the plugin.
