So a few days ago I noticed an issue while editing another game capture file from OBS, there was no audio save for a low whining kind of static on the video. Video itself had no issues, the graphics and visuals were playing as recorded but there no was no recorded audio. At all.
I looked through my OBS for the past few days as well and realize when recording, the green detection bars for sound was only showing underneath the Microphone icon while the Audio was picking nothing up.
Changed around lots of settings, made sure it wasn't an issue with devices; reinitialized and swapped to default and several device combinations with no fix. Even reinstalled OBS with settings removed and renewed!
