Hey everyone!
Having some trouble capturing my WiiU. I have the console hooked up to the video capture card (DIAMOND USB 2.0 GC1000 HD 1080 Game Console Video Capture Device) via HDMI. The video capture card is hooked up to my PC via USB. The software that came with the capture card is called DM CAP.
When I open the DM CAP software and select HDMI as the source, the WiiU screen pops up and works. But when I open OBS and set up a window capture, I select the HDMI source from the drop down and just get a blank screen. I get the same result if i do a monitor capture. I'll be looking at the WiiU home screen through the DM CAP software, but it's just a blank screen on the OBS side.
Is this a case of HDCP or is there something wrong with the way I'm going about doing this?

UPDATE: I googled better and found some help. In the DM CAP software, go Setup > Video Settings and change the VMR Type to "EVR" and it works.
