Issue and Resolution / NodeJS or LogiTune

Issue:
OBS will 'hang' when attempting to end recording. It will continue to time count, but will not complete. Must be force quit from task manager. No files will be saved, or rather, the capture file would show as 0k and continue to be 0k after quitting with task manager.

Notes:
This was tried with .mkv, .mp4, and with remux to mp4 both on and off.
It would also seem to happen at unpredictable intervals.
It would occur regardless of recording length. Sometimes I would switch settings in attempt to fix this, then be able to record a 30 to 45 minute recording, then the next attempt would be a 12 minute recording that would fail.
It also was appeared to occur regardless of resolution as I attempted this with 1920x1080, 2560x1080, 2560x1440 and 3440x1400
When I uninstalled OBS to try to reinstall to see if it would fix the issue, I received an alert about elements being in use by NodeJS and LogiTune, which leads me to my conclusion that these caused the conflict.

Steps I believe would recreate the issue:
1) Install OBS
2) Install NodeJS and/or LogiTune
3) Attempt OBS captures

Method to resolve/fix
1) Uninstall OBS
2) Reboot
3) Reinstall OBS

Longer Description:
Hi Folks,
First off, thanks for all things OBS. Love using it for making tutorials, for recording classes, for recording student work and for teaching students how to showcase their work.

I recently ran into an issue and it took me a while to figure it out. I thought I'd explain the issue here, but unfortunately my resolution involved uninstalling which wiped my log files, so I can't share those logs. However, I wanted to share the issue, and the easy fix, incase anyone else has this happen!

My tutorials involve using Unity and Unreal to make Augmented Reality applications, so I typical need to have NodeJS installed. I recently set up a new machine to be a gaming machine, leaving my tutorial machine separate. I started migrating my work applications over to the gaming machine this summer, and ran into this issue. Many people might never have this issue as it seems to be avoided by installing OBS AFTER NodeJS and LogiTune?

According to recent previous forum posts, people who reported this were able to fix this issue by uninstalling the Logitune software that comes with some Logitech product.
