Question / Help Is there some way to animate a picture to look like Ken Burns effect ? ?

I mean, when I stream, I use static pictures to display news and other things while I talk over. But these static pictures are very boring. If there is at least some ways to animate them like applying some little zoom and then, moving to the sides, and zooming out and randomly doing that again very slowly, like the famous Ken Burns effect without having to do it beforehand on Adobe premiere. Some plug-in, some external presentation software, some external slideshow software... Any tips ?

Thanks in advance. Take care.

There is no animate-over-time effect, no. You might be able to use the motion-effect plugin for this with a very slow movement time, but it would not be randomized and only be able to go from point A to B and back, when you use a hotkey to trigger it. You MIGHT be able to set up multiple and chain them together with a third-party piece of software like AutoHotKey to set up a macro sequence to hit each of the M-E activation keys.

No idea who Ken Burns is, either.

Thank you very much. Ken Burns is a person who created documentaries mostly based on pictures, instead of video, and his way to animate them by using pan and zoom is what people mostly use currently, to give some life to still.

Hell all, I'm looking for the same Ken Burns effect. I'm a musician and want to give my live streams some visual interest by doing slow zooms and/or pans on static shots. I installed the motion-effect plugin and got a hang of the zoom and pan features, but was disappointed to find that the maximum time over which these effects could occur is 5.0s.

I'm wondering if I could solve my problem by setting up multiple zooms, each one beginning where the last one ended, and link them together to get a longer zoom effect. Thanks.

A friend told me about a tool I am currently playing with. It allows for cam rides and zooms. He said it's being used by a German Twitch streamer I don't know. Complex at first sight but it has quite an impressive effect on the production. guess that may be interesting for others, too. it's called schwercraft.com
