Question / Help Is there any way to record a Vulkan source on OBS Studio (Nvidia)

I think game capturing Vulkan programs is on the roadmap for OBS Studio but I'm not sure when. Best you can do is run in borderless window and use display capture on the monitor it's on.

You can use Dxtory with the Direct Show plugin. It's a clunky piece of shareware though that'll add some overhead.
I use it for RetroArch with the Vulkan driver and it works well most of the time. It does have issues when the resolution gets switched on the fly or when the window is destroyed and a new one is created. Manually enabling/disabling Dxtory helps in the latter case.
I tried to make a guide for it but it was done in haste and poorly written. Guessing that's why it got deleted.
