Is there any alternative to CQP for Mac?

Hey there I like playing Minecraft and wanna get the HIGHEST possible recording quality on my Mac but Minecraft just looks so bad! how can I fix this and is there any type of CQP alternative for Mac?

CQP is a rate control, not an encoder. If you're missing CQP as a rate control, then the encoder you're using MAY not support it. CRF would be the first choice of alternative.

thanks but what level of CRF should I use?

The simple output mode settings use CRF level 23 for "High quality" and level 14 for "indistinguishable"

that weird because whenever I go lower than 12 it looks so bad like blocky ad blurry

CRF, like CQP, is a quality based rate control, and lower numbers mean less image data is thrown away.
Make sure you're watching your recordings in VLC and that your output resolution is set correctly in obs' settings

ok and should I use MKV or MP4

MKV should be your recording format. Regular MP4 has reliability issues that prevent the file from being used at all if the recording is interrupted, and fragmented mp4 has some compatibility issues with media players and editors.
