Question / Help Is there a way to output recorded audio as separate files?

I'm trying to record gameplay and I'm wondering if there is any way to separate the audio files to export. For example, have the video file with the game audio, and then have a separate audio file that includes only my microphone audio. Is there a way in OBS Studio to do this, and if so, how? Otherwise, will I have to use an outside program like Audacity?
 
Hello there! I'm a bit confused as to why you would need the microphone track on another file, rather than in the same file but in another track; it probably does what you want it to do. Let me explain.
You want game audio and microphone audio to be separated, correct? In that case, you can open the "Mixer" thing in the "homescreen" of OBS, there you can set each and every device of yours to a particular track, numbered one to four. Just tick one device per track (EG: game sound to track one, microphone to track two, leaving everything else unchecked). When you open a video with these settings on a video editor, you will have x number of audio tracks, depending on how many different audio sources you have, all separated, one per track. It simplifies audio cutting and stuff. I hope you find this useful! Screencap to make things easier.

Hi there, I kinda have the same question. I recorded footage with my voice as audio input and game sound as output but noticed while editing that the game sound is too loud/my voice too quiet. In the video I only have one sound track with audio input and output combined. Is there a way to seperate them? As in, is there a way to have a video file with two seperate audio tracks or do I have to use audacity (or something else) for audio input and then later crop it together?
