Question / Help Is there a way to keep one window shown recording while have multiple windows up

So I am currently working with zoom and google chrome but when I record i want to only record all activities happening with just google chrome and not record anything with zoom. Is there a way to do it here or is there another screen recording app that can work with this?

Just use window capture for chrome. With your current version of windows, you will need to disable hardware acceleration in chrome.

If you update windows, OBS can use the 1909 version window capture method which works even with hardware acceleration enabled.

Ok when I do that I also want to capture the date and time in the bottom of my desktop not just the window itself.

For that, make a Display Capture source, and crop it down to the area you want by holding alt and dragging the bounding box.
