Question / Help Is there a way to have OBS continue rendering when network disconnect?

I've been using OBS to capture from a blackmagic shuttle for game capture.

The problem is, when this card isn't being used, all sorts of other problems occur for various reasons because the capture card stops converting the signal from 480p to 480i, cutting off the people who are playing from seeing the game on their tv.

When there's a disconnect from the internet whilst streaming, OBS stops rendering too, causing the game display on the TV shut down.

Is there a way to force OBS to continue rendering in the case of an internet disconnect? I attempted recording the game at the same time, but no luck.

Yes, set the setting to keep recording when streaming stops.

Or you could just use obs studio instead.

If you don't want to be recording, you can also set ExperimentalReconnectMode=1 in the [Publish] section of your profile .ini and set a reconnect timeout of 0.

If not wanting to save any recordings, save to file as "C:\NUL.flv" and press record. On windows this file cannot be created, and OBS will record to nothing.

EDIT: nevermind about my idea, as OBS starts writing it as "NUL (01).flv"
