I'm recording some livestreams in VLC player that I have configured to work with Streamlink. Then in Obs Studio I do Windows Capture and capture the full VLC screen and then added my mic Audio.
Would it be more efficient CPU/GPU-wise to forget about VLC and record directly from Streamlink plugin for Obs Studio?
One thing I wonder is that when I run Streamlink for VLC I can specify caching time and lower resolution to fall back to if the network signal is not good.
streamlink --player-args="--file-caching=99999" https://xxx "original, 720p"
I don't think I can do this with Streamlink plugin for Obs Studio, right?
