Question / Help Is OBS Using My 1060 Or 530? Heres The Help Log

Plug all your monitors into your 1060. You shouldn't have any connected to your motherboard like that.

Im on a gaming laptop with a second monitor connected via hdmi to it

OBS Classic allowed me to choose GTX 1060 specifically, I think without the option to choose that, it presents the reason i am laggin on OBS Studio

I FIXED IT. OBS STUDIO IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT .EXE FROM OBS CLASSIC. YOU HAVE TO GO INTO YOUR GRAPHIC CARD SETTINGS AND MANUALLY ADD OBS32.EXE AND OBS64.EXE TO RUN UNDER HIGH-PERFORMANCE GRAPHICS ADAPTER

You still shouldn't split monitors between two GPUs like that. They should all be connected to your 1060. If they are not, it can still cause performance issues.
