Ok so i have just got back into streaming and im aiming high and going for a partnership eventually and I understand the hard work and dedication which needs to be put into it. I normally play high motion games like simulators and racing however my question is:

1) Are my specs and internet good enough to run to run high motion games at 720p @ 30fps?

2) Are my specs and internet good enough to run high motion games at 1080p @ 60fps? (When i get my partnership, ok IF?)

Internet specs

D: 80, U: 18 (using wired connection)

PC Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte 990XA-UD3
CPU: AMD - FX 4350 @ 4.2Ghz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: Nvidia GTX 770
Storage: 1TB HDD 7200 Rpm

A: Yes

A: No 1080@60 is to much for your CPU and twitch's max bitrate, which is around 3500 bitrate. 2000-2500 is recommended for streamer to ensure all your viewers are able to watch without buffering, which incidentally, is what is needed for 720@30.

i still run my games at 720p 30 but still get lag in some games like League of Legends, Fifa and Formula 1, i run at 2500 bit rate and downscale 1.5 i think to **** x 720. even when im the only person in the house.

post your logfile from the help menu

Code:
RTMPPublisher::SocketLoop: Stalled for 25243 ms to write 13230 bytes (buffer: 0 / 335872), unstable connection?

Seems like your connection is briefly stalling out at 2500 bitrate. please run this tool for your region and post a screenshot of the results:

I find that alot of the time my viewers complain that it buffers alot. However this is the numbers I can stream on without the game side being affected

ok, so lets be clear, you made this statement:

and you were talking about buffering? you were talking about watching your own stream or viewers complaining about buffering?

buffering is an entirely different issue. the only thing you can do to fix this is lower bitrate to maybe 2000.

As for if you are watching your own stream doesn't mean your viewers are buffering. each use-case is its own, so ask your viewers, lower the bitrate if necessary. play with it from 1800-2500 depend on your level of acceptance and your viewers. Some days will be better than others.

Ok so lets refresh, i made a mistake. I can run games 'safely' at 720p @ 25, 2500bitrate and 1.5 downscale and get stable game frames but il check the stream on another device on my network to find that it buffers alot. I am unaware if it lags for my viewers
