Hello I want to get into streaming on twitch but ive been having some problems with lag such as my game lagging when im streaming then the stream lagging. I have looked up all over the internet for the best settings and i cant seem to find the right ones. I have it on compatibility mode for windows 7 as im told windows 10 not supported completely yet. I seem to only get like 12 fps up to 30 fps and down again when playing counter strike go and streaming so wondering if anybody could help me out with my settings im told its the encoding but i dont know what to do?

It would be helpful if you had posted exactly *how* you were trying to stream. As in what settings you were using, were you using any overlays, type of audio and so forth.

Post a logfile from a streaming session at least 5 minutes in length. They are available under the Help menu in OBS. Screenshots are unnecessary, the log will contain all of your settings.

Your system is indeed strong enough to stream fairly well.

i am currently using these settings and they are working well just now and again i get big frame drops i go from 90 fps to about 19 and it makes the stream impossible to view or even enjoy and it also makes it impossible for me to play the game so is there anything i can do to fix that?

You should lower bitrate to 2000 or 2500. Other then that all settings are correct, try disabling preview window in OBS (right click on window). But that shouldn't eat that much of a performance. Also use custom buffer size, same number as cbr always.

Screenshots are completely unnecessary. The logfile would have included all of your settings, without being a waste of bandwidth and storage space. It also includes more information on what is happening on the back-end, allowing us to point out potential root causes of issues.

Why I'd said that screenshots are NOT NEEDED.
