Question / Help Is it possible to use my samsung S5 as a webcam?

Hey guys, i have a very good video recorder on my samsung s5. Is it possible to use that in OBS as a webcam in footage i capture. i can use my old webcam ok but was wondering how to set up OBS to use my phone?

This puts your phone camera via an IP stream which you should be able to stream through OBS.
Shows up as a webcam source.

Thanx m8, i was looking for a direct way as the ip thing causes lag. I just want to be able to hook it up to pc via usb and stick it into obs as a layer.

Probably better to email Samsung and ask them if it can be made to show up as a webcam when plugged in, as that's not really an OBS problem.

The MJPG output can be choose in obs videosource.

I have experience with small Lags too, because it goes over wlan and my Router is not in the same Room. Here is a Vid of it. The small Cam is my Handy
