Question / Help Is it possible to record the same live stream without compress it twice?

Hi mates, thanks for your answer, I'm looking for a way to record down the same exact live stream, since OBS is compressing twice the same output for local file, using a lot of additional CPU. I suppose there should be a way.
I've tried to don't encode audio and video on recordings, but actually I'm having a problem when I start recording in any container, it displays an error with "invalid argument".

OBS does not compress anything twice. Either your recording is a copy of the stream, or your recording is encoded separately at a different quality.
 
To re-use the video data encoded for streaming for recording as well, go to the recording settings of OBS and set the encoder to "use stream encoder".
