When not even recording or streaming, just having OBS Studio open, I lost 10-20FPS and the game looks like its stuttering/screen splitting. Is this normal?

Open OBS, replicate the issue, an then do this:

Please post a link to your current log file. In OBS select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here. See this picture for steps (make sure you select current!): http://i.imgur.com/SMPvPb8.png

I have two different Scene Collections/Profiles.

1. Streaming: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/2bf7255abf64fd477e92c394729d16e0

2. Recording: https://gist.github.com/0d5b95f0e12824b9005ce2591476e190

The second log doesn't have a record attempt in it, but you shouldn't have display and monitor capture in the same scene.

Also, make sure you're capping FPS at something reasonable in the game. OBS uses your GPU to render the scene, so if the game is maxing it out, neither will work well.
