Yes, I just realized that the C985 can't capture 1080p60 so that card is not in my interest anymore.

I really want to record in 1080p60, but the capture cards capable of this costs like $200 which is a bit too much. I do have secondary $200 GPU that is just laying around. It would be great if I could use it for capturing and even encoding with AMD VCE, but it seems like that is not possible...

If you're capturing content on the computer itself, you don't need a capture card. If you're capturing from another device, then you will.

Yes, I capture the content on the same computer. I don't know how to configure the capturing program to use the secondary GPU for capturing.

You can't use the second GPU for capturing. OBS has to run on the same GPU as the game in order to capture it.

Only if you're running the game on the secondary GPU as well, which defeats the point.
