Hi everyone. I am upcoming new streamer.

I recently built a streaming pc due to the fact when I was streaming on my gaming rig, the game play of any game I played was very choppy and I couldn't enjoy the game(s). I didn't do as much research to see how to adjust it and just got parts to make a second computer to stream to with a avermedia capture card.

Now I am thinking of doing something else with the second computer and wanted to research the issue back then. I have updated my video card and memory which I am not sure if that matters but I would like some advice and tips. Sorry if I sound like a NOOB with this but I want to see how I can go about this.

I will still use the avermedia capture card for PS4 games but If possible I want to see if I can finally make it work on one computer without a problem with the stream and/or gameplay. I know it is possible but I couldn't find a fix so I would need to attempt it again on one computer since all the settings and obs is uninstalled currently but wanted to start this thread to see what responses I can get.

Thanks for your time and help on this matter

The largest impact will be from the CPU. Streaming is extremely CPU-heavy. If you have a weak one (Core i3, any AMD APU) or are trying to stream at higher resolutions (1080p@30 on an i5 isn't going to work out) then you're going to have issues.

If you want no-compromise, unaffected gameplay, a 2-PC setup is the only way to do it. Otherwise, post some system specs and a logfile from a single-system live streaming session at least 10 minutes in length, and we'll see if we can offer advice on improving the situation.

(Also, isn't every new streamer an 'upcoming' one?)

LOL Yes a new streamer is an upcoming one. So I hope to be noticed soon lol. I would have to set it up to give you the log files but I can definitely give you my specs of my Gaming PC. And yes unfortunately I have an i5 processor:

Intel Core i5 4690K
HyperX Fury Red Serios 16gb (2 x 8gb) 1866
EVGA GeForce GTX Titan X
OCZ Agility 3 Internal Solid State Drive
Corsair Hydro Series H60
1 TB WD HD
ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VII HERO LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Gaming Motherboard

So maybe it was a great idea to have a secondary comp for my streaming?
