Question / Help is 60 fps worth it?

So heres my stream http://www.twitch.tv/willll162904
i stream at 10 quality 3500 bit rate and buffer 4.26 mbs upload. my stream is downscaled to 720p. is it worth streaming in 60 fps? i can stream at 30 and 60 fine with no dropped frames or lag but i dont see much of a difference in my quality or smoothness.

Yes it is definitely worth it , it is that much easier on your eyes (if you are a viewer of course). If your system/connection allows you to stream at 60Fps do it , your viewers will love you for it.

Seems that the majority of viewers prefer a 60 Fps streams for a reason (me included), because it looks super smooth and it is nice to look at. Even viewers that don't know much about technical details such as Fps Rates, they do recognize that the stream looks a lot smoother and keep asking why that is. So it is definitely not just some random setting , it does make a difference!

I'd like to know what monster of a machine that can do this though ^^ These are my specs:

i7-2600k clocked to 4.0Ghz
8Gb RAM 1333
Nvidia GTX580
Connection: 100Mbit/100Mbit

Even with this I cannot seem to stream at 60 fps with 1080p and downscaling to 720 makes it look like 540...
I got my stream somewhat working last night by lowering fps to 40 but I'm not happy about it.
