When my game transitions from 240->480i, the 480i signal has many dropped frames, without any deinterlacing being applied (disabled in OBS and the driver). I quickly tested in AmarecTV 3.10 by previewing the USB3HDCAP and it does not have this problem.
You can see an example here, the gameplay section is 240p and has a solid framerate, the results and credits roll are 480i and animate jerkily (especially obvious in the credits roll).
