More a Quicktime issue, but there's no dedicated places to request support for these things. As I'm using OBS as my streaming software, figured I'd post here.
I'm trying to record/stream my phone screen via a wired connection. All tutorials say to use Quicktime as a method of forwarding the audio of your phone to your computer, and of course capturing it through iShowU.
However, even when my volume is up and my phone is selected as the microphone on Quicktime, no audio plays. I've checked everything, and it all seems to be correct (having Movie Recording or Audio Recording selected, mic is my phone, iShowU is set up and works normally), so I'm not terribly sure what I'm doing wrong. I was worried it was a Catalina problem, but this was working back in Yosemite, and according to one commenter on a tutorial video, working as late as 3 months ago.
Does anyone have any workarounds or know what's up?
