Hi All,
We recently upgraded to OBS Studio 26.0.2 for Windows (we are on Windows 10 with 9th generation i7). We have been using two iPhones for live streaming to YouTube with the Camera for OBS app for last six months (initially with a Mac but now with a windows laptop), and we have the recent updates for the app. We have installed the OBS Camera Windows plug in. We had run iTunes once in Windows and until our upgraded we never had to keep it open when running OBS.
Now that we upgraded to 26.0.2, the iPhones won't show up as devices in the iOS Camera source unless iTunes is running in the background. Pressing refresh or reconnect in the popup for the iOS Camera source has zero effect unless iTunes is running. The only way I can get the iPhone to show up as a device in the iOS source and stay connected is to have iTunes running. I am a little perplexed.
With OBS Studio 26.0.2 on the Mac, we have not have to run iTunes in the background and the iPhone shows up as a devices in the iOS Camera source.
Any suggestions, comments or suggested fixes to have the iPhones show up as devices in the iOS Camera source without having iTunes running in the background at all times?
Thanks for any feedback.
