Question / Help Invalid Resolution (AverMedia Live Gamer Portable)

For starters I'm running Windows 7 + OBS 0.624 (installed in Program Files (x86)) with an AverMedia Live Gamer Portable.

I'm trying to add a "Video Capture Device" to my Sources and when I am done with the Device Selection screen, every time I get an "Invalid Resolution" screen and am unable to add the device. I can see that the Live Gamer Portable is recognized by OBS (not only in the device selection menu, but also in the configure screen, where a proper signal is indeed detected). Any help would be appreciated as I feel like I'm overlooking something simple and just can't find it.

I've tried both 1280x720 and 1920x1080 (after changing my actual source accordingly). My Video settings are for the size of my desktop (1600x900, though I don't know if that matters) and I've tried various other resolution settings to no avail.

I wasn't before, but I just now downloaded it. After selecting LGP Stream Engine in OBS, I'm no longer getting the "invalid resolution" error. On top of learning about the various settings within OBS & Avermedia's tools, I've discovered that the LGP device doesn't quite like the source I'm feeding it and is getting somewhat of a flaky feed (news to me, I thought HDMI was HDMI???). Anyways, thanks for pointing me to LGP Stream Engine. I think I can take it from here.
