Question / Help Internet starting and stoping as soon as i start streaming

when i preview my stream everything is fine but as soon as I hit start streaming my internet in the bottem corner of obs seems to start and stop causing dropped frames could anyone help?

Stop using a custom buffer size. Setting it to 0 removes the bitrate limit entirely, and is only used for local recording.

i just turned it off and it still does the same thing kbs ges up then down to 0 then bck up then back down

You appear to be having extreme connection problems with the server you're trying to stream to. See https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/dropped-frames-disconnecting-lag-read-this-first.8870/

I downloaded and installed that program and figured out which seer was best but it still seems to be doing the same thing I have around 2.5mbs upload so I figured that would be ok but I'm wondering if its maybe a firewall issue or something stopping it because the speed goes up to green right away then down to 0 then back up and back down

and I'm also having the problem with it saying "not responding" every once in awhile and sorry sapiens for asking so many questions and thank you for trying to help
