We use OBS Studio to live stream worship services to our channel on YouTube. The connection is solid, direct to a Verizon FiOS modem (upload/download speeds are close to 150 Mb/s, according to TestMy.net). The video never hangs up, but occasionally, the audio drops out and comes back a few seconds later.
Audio levels are consistent on the OBS dashboard, even with drop-out during the stream. Is this an issue with OBS encoding? Anti-virus software on the computer? (I know AV and malware programs don't like certain real-time streaming protocols).
Anyone else experience this? It's pretty annoying. The simultaneous recordings we make don't have an issue with dropout - we use the MP4 format for those, as they go to our YouTube channel right after services for later viewing.
