Interference/Feedback from Mac operating OBS

Need some help. I am a novice. We are having a problem that just came up. We use OBS to live stream our church services. This morning we had a problem playing a sound track from our PC. This PC operates our OBS and runs directly into our sound system. When opening OBS we had terrible feedback until we muted ghe PC channel. Any ideas?

"Feedback" has become a sort-of universal term for "problems with audio that a technical layman doesn't understand." I've seen it used to describe what turned out to be a genuine feedback loop, or analog electronic noise getting in somewhere, or bad gain structure that results in distortion, or a couple of other things.

Can you post a recording? Most problems have characteristic sounds.
