Question / Help Interactions between GPU and different capture features

Hello, I'm a casual streamer who's been using OBS for the past few months. I'm using an Acer V3-471G laptop. For a long time I've struggled with the fact that I can't seem to get the game capture feature to work (also the monitor capture ever since it replaced the screen capture). Just recently I've discovered that using the integrated Intel GPU to render the stream instead of my NVidia GPU allows both game capture and monitor capture to work. However, it also ends up causing window capture, which I've previously been using to stream, to end up in just rendering a black screen (similar to how game capture and monitor capture was acting when I used the NVidia GPU). This has gotten me a bit confused, so is it possible to explain how the GPU interacts with each of the different capture features and, if possible, a way to get all of them to work with the NVidia GPU?

Here's a log of a recent stream using the game capture and monitor capture on different scenes. My net connection broke in the end, hence the disconnection messages, but you can ignore that. It is irrelevant to the issue.

I am not 100% sure on how to go about doing this but you may want to simply force the system into using the nVidia. Have a look at nVidia's control panel. Supposedly there's something you can do about it there. Had a quick look around to see if I could come up with a straightforward answer. I do not own a laptop myself so I can't doublecheck it for you though.
