Question / Help Intel Quicksync Crashing Computer??

I recently bought a pentium g3258, and paired that with my old Radeon HD 6870. My games run fine on my 900p monitor, until I start recording with OBS. About 1-2 minutes in, my screen freezes and my audio keeps stuttering. I can't do anything to get out of this frozen screen, so I have to force shut down the computer. My OBS settings are as follows:

I have no clue what is going wrong, but I don't like it. Any help would be appreciated!
