I can't preview or start stream. I get a error

Could not initialize DirectX 10 on Intel(R) G45/G43 Express
Chipset. This error an happen for one of the following reasons:

1. Your GPU is not supported (DirectX 10 is required - note that many intergrated laptops GPU's
do not support DX10
2. You're runnin windows vista without the "platform update"
3. Your video card drivers are out of date

If you are using laptop with NVIDIA Optimus or AMD Switchable
Graphics, make sure OBS is set to run on High Performance
GPU in your driver settings

I don't have a laptop? I am confused why it doesn't work

HP Windows 7
Intel core 2 quad gpu q8300 @ 2.50GHz
Ram 8gb
64 bit

I have the latest DirectX

If all you have for graphics is an Intel G45/G43, then OBS will not work. Those chips do not support the features OBS currently needs to function.

I will try in the future to increase compatibility with these incompatible chipsets at some point, though right now it's still on the backburner.

Well, if you're not on Vista or are on Vista with the Platform Update and made sure to update your graphics drivers and still receive this particular error then obviously your hardware simply does not support OBS.
