installer checksum where?

on the downloadpage of the obsproject there is no installer checksum to be found.
how am i supposed to verify the downloaded executable hasn't been tampered with?

I downloaded the executable from obs directly, not from github.
The link to previous releases was broken yesterday.
Why doesnt obs simply provide checksum themselfes but relies on github to do that for them?!

Normal people don't need or have a use for checksum. Adding too much information is known to cause more confusion and probably lead to other issues if the checksum string isn't copied correctly.
For those that do want it and use checksum have the option to find it on the Github repository.

The files are digitally signed, which is much more secure than a checksum that could easily be tampered with.
