Installed recent update, OBS doesnt launch or show in task.

Idk whats going on, obs wont launch or even show in the task manager. I restarted the PC and also reinstalled OBS and still nothing. Is there like a duplicate file thats stopping it from opening? Even launching as admin does NOTHING. Please help!

I had this issue with OBS after updating. The program would not open or show in task manager at all when trying to run the application. I was able to resolve it by running the OBS updater ( %appdata%\obs-studio\updates ) a second time. Hope this helps you fix the issue.

I have same issue, I have tried several times with same issue, had to down grade to get it to work again??

Which plugins can I update I get the same error message when I try to run the updated version.
The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.
