I'm running Windows 7 Pro SP1 on a 64 bit laptop. I downloaded the latest non-beta .exe file from the OBS website. "OBS-MP-0.11.3-Installer.exe". I execute the program.

I get an error message "Your system is missing runtime components that OBS Multiplatform requires. Would you like to download them?". I click yes. It takes me to the following page:

Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

I click "download" and select and save the file entitled "vcredist_x64.exe". I install this file, without error. I close down all software, and restart the computer.

I try running the OBS executable again. Same error message "Your system is missing....."

What to do?

Even on a 64bit System, always install the 32-bit version of that runtime as well. (x86 = 32bit)
