Question / Help Installation Directory Problem

Hi,

I do not want to install OBS to my C drive due to limited space there, however the installer doesn't allow me to switch directories.

I researched this issue and came across a post suggesting to download the ZIP version of OBS which, upon extraction of files, would install it where I wished.

This worked, however there is no OBS.exe file in the ZIP folder I downloaded. The version I downloaded was through a link suggested by a user on this forum (a link to said forum post is below):

I should also mention that there was no installer in the ZIP file either, however the forum post I linked above suggested that by extracting the ZIP file, I was in fact installing OBS.

Can someone make an ELI5 reply to this please?

P.S. If there is no ZIP file available with an installer or OBS.exe application, how much room can I expect OBS to take up on my C drive? I only have 1.4GB left on it so obviously space is tight.

You don't need to keep the OBS installation folder where it installs, you can cut and paste it to another drive, update shortcuts, and it'll work.
