Question / Help Instagram rules (and how real are they)

I would like to simulcast to FB and IG. I understand it's against the IG agreement to livestream from OBS - is that still true?

What is the community experience with doing it anyway? Has it been fine? Has it been shut down?

What about for content - burlesque dancing, copyrighted music?

Oddly, I haven't seen much information about this collected anywhere. If there is such a resource, I would love to read it :)

We cannot offer legal advice on the terms of service for a third-party company, here.

The only recommendation would be to read the terms for yourself, and/or hire a lawyer cognizant with the subject matter to read it and translate it out of legalese for you to understand what it legally allowed on their service. Likewise, copyright law which is a HUGE field with many spiky thorns covered with poison and also all of them hate you. Seriously, that can screw you over for life in some cases, and there are a HELL of a lot of gotchas built in. Pay a lawyer and get educated on it by a professional.
