insert a PDF in OBS STUDIO

Hi I followed all the tutorials on: How to insert a PDF in OBS STUDIO
downloaded the obs-ghostscrppt v. 1.2 version and copied the files into the obs-studio folder
I open OBS but I do NOT find the PDF Documents item in the new scenes (...)
use OBS version 31.00 64 bit for Windows 11
I don't understand why, all the tutorials have the same procedure.
Thanks Franco

Tutorials are often outdated. Take them with a grain of salt.

And there are SO many resources that most of us are unfamiliar with most of them. Links would be nice.

Anyway, what end result do you want, from the viewers' perspective?

It's still not clear what you want to do. What is "alternate a presentation"? Please describe your goal. What do you want to do with the pdf in your stream? If you just want to show a pdf in your stream, the most easy method is to add a browser source, set it to display a local file instead of an url and point the local file to your pdf.

It's simple.
During a live stream, I film the speaker with my camera.
When the speaker starts his presentation (usually many pages in PDF format), I would like to view the same PDF file inside OBS and scroll the pages following his presentation.
I already have his file locally

When you have the browser source selected, there's an Interact button. Click that, it opens a new window, and you can run the browser in there like any other, even if you then select something else or whatever.
As long as you keep that window open, it works like any other browser. (it's actually a pared-down, slightly-old version of Chromium) If you close it, and you need to work with it again, just go back and get it again.
