Hello,
I downloaded OBS recently and I have experienced lots of lag and FPS drops while recording. I’ve watched tutorials and I have run the auto-configuration wizard. It is still insanely laggy.
Now I play on an internet connection that works perfect for only gaming (180 FPS) but once I start recording it drops to 50-20.
What may be the problem is that I am playing on a different floor than the router with 5 other devices using it at the same time, but maybe it’s not.
My specs are:
OS: Windows 10 home 64-bit (10.0 Build 18363)
System Manufacturer: LENOVO
System Model: 81XH
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1051OU CPU @ 1.80GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
Memory: 16384MB RAM
My OBS Settings are:
Recording:
Type: Standard
Recording format: mp4
Encoder: x264
Rate Control: CBR
Bitrate: 40000
Keyframe Interval: 0
CPU Usage: veryfast
Thank you in advance!
