Input lag

Hi Guys,

I am running a AMD Ryzen 7 3700x with 16 gig DDR4 Ram and a RTX 2080 super. When I open OBS and use display capture for CSGO, I have visibly noticeable input lag but my FPS in game is still between 300-400 constantly. I have tried with the preview off and tried looking at Youtube videos but dont seem to find a solution. I am not looking at streaming only to record in game play.

Any settings or recommendations I should change?

I found the issue.

When the OBS application is open on my 2nd monitor that is when I have the input lag. If I leave OBS on my main monitor in the background the input lag is fixed.

Yeah, they do. The 2nd monitor is on 60hz via HDMI cable. The main monitor is 240hz. Is that expected then? (I am a noob with this type of stuff)
