Question / Help Ingame lag caused by the presence of OBS

Hello.
I've been using OBS constantly for the past couple of months but 2 days ago I was attempting to stream my game when suddenly the game started lagging a bunch.

I've had lag issues before but they were always solvable by changing streaming and recording settings, but now even with the presence of OBS without recording or streaming it's lagging. This was all of the sudden and I didn't have the issue before

I'm not a super techy person so I don't know how to do certain things but here's what I've tried so far:
- Checked CPU usage (not the problem)
- Updated OBS
- Uninstalled and reinstalled the game
- Reset my computer a few times
 
I have the same problem, for example i get a consistent never changing 120fps ingame as i should but once i even open OBS it shows im getting the same amount of frames but im experiencing ALOT of ingame lag, started happening recently with h1 and fortnite would love a response
