Question / Help Ingame Framedrop With OBS open

Im having issues with frame drops in The elder scrolls online, the game runs silky smooth on stable 70-80fps~ even in crowded areas, but as soon as i launch obs the framerate drops and stays at 10-25fps~ before starting stream. I have OBS 22.0.2 innstalled, and im also running the 1809 windows update.

It's a fresh install of everything, all drivers are up to date, i have also disabled the game bar

Current pc setup is:
Ryzen 7 2700x
16Gb 3000Mhz ram
Gigabyte 1060 6Gb

It's ESO.

Looks like OBS is having a hell of a time actually hooking onto the game for the game capture source. Also, it looks like you have 2 separate game capture sources in your ESO scene -- what's the 2nd one for?

What options do you have set for the game capture settings?

Have you tried display capture instead? (last ditch effort, but if it's having that much trouble with the hook, this would completely bypass it)
