Question / Help Ingame FPS lag - Please help

I was looking to stream League of Legends on 480p or 720p(if possible). I have turned all of my setting in 'League of Legends' to 'Low' in attempt to help out this issue.

However I get a problem with fps in-game and it is quite stuttery. My fps is set to stable on League of Legends (60fps constant), however when I have the stream on, the fps drops to around 40~ and it gets quite laggy (fps), which is not comfortable to play on.

My download speed : 70-100 MB
My upload speed : 10+ MB

high render times quite some late frames

try 480p with 25 or 30 fps and use cbr guess your 1st gen i3 wont handle any higher settings really properly without huge performance decrease

Thanks for the quick response.

I did the changes that you mentioned and it did make it a bit better, but not smooth like I wanted it. Is there anything else I could do, or do I need a new CPU for streaming?

smooth stream or a smooth game performance is now the question.. also post a new log if you streamed with the new settings so we can see how far the performance improved

Your CPU isn't the greatest ever, an old-ish generation i3. You can try dropping the x264 preset to superfast to relieve some CPU strain, though that will make the picture quality drop.
