Question / Help Infinity window issue

Okay, so yes, I'm on a laptop. So I do have a problem with the black window when using Window Capture. However, Monitor capture seems to work, except for the fact that it does that window-with-in-a-window-to-infinity thing.

I'm running on Windows 10, and as I said earlier, I am on a laptop. I just barely downloaded the program today, and haven't changed any settings so far. So what do I do?

This is perfectly normal.

I just tested it, and it worked out fine at first, until I unchecked the box so I could record myself from my webcam. Then, when I checked the box again, it did the window-until-infinity thing. If I wanted to switch back and forth between recording my screen, and recording myself, is there another way to do it that wouldn't cause this problem?

It will if you have obs itself showing on screen. Not if you are capturing something else.
