Question / Help Inconsistent Stream Quality to Twitch

Recently upgraded my PC and decided to get back into live streaming to Twitch. Tweaked my settings until my brain is numb and I've gotten to a point where one set seems to work for this game, but if I switch games all hell breaks loose. Today, I did a short Overwatch stream where things are running pretty solid. For my wrap up I wanted to check out Anthem and it was a total mess. The stream itself was damn near unwatchable with all of the stuttering and frame skips. Does anyone have any suggestions?

That log doesn't contain a recording/streaming attempt, so unfortunately it doesn't provide us with much information about the cause. Perform a test stream for at least 30 seconds, stop the recording, and fetch a fresh "Current Log" from the Help dropdown.

In terms of games, Overwatch has had years to optimize itself and has lower requirements than Anthem. Anthem, because it's an early build before release, has not been optimized and therefore uses a lot more resources than it should. Now, as you're on an i9 9900K with a 2080, you shouldn't be having issues, so let's dig a bit deeper. First, make sure you disable Game Mode in Windows. Secondly, was the stuttering you saw on stream visible in the OBS preview window?

Once you provide a log with a streaming attempt, we'll be able to help you further.
