Question / Help Incompatible Hook Modules With OBS and EVGA Precision X+RTSS?

Hey all,

I am new here and was wondering whether I could get some help with OBS.

I have disabled OBS and OBS32 in RTSS to no avail, I have also looked around for an option to disable the pop-up including the hook module message and I cannot find it.

Is there anything else I can try? I don't want to uninstall or exit RTSS or EVGA Precision X.

Thanks for reading!

You need to configure the offending programs to not hook OBS, and not hook the game you're going to stream if you plan to use a game capture source to capture it. Ideally you would disable the overlay/hook function completely. If OBS still gives you the warning then you most likely have not configured the offending programs correctly.

I have tried disabling detection of OBS in RTSS to no avail, both 64 and 32 bit.

I've been seeing people mention about an option that allows one to disable the pop up completely, is this true?

Thanks for the reply!

The popup itself doesn't prevent anything from working, it's just a warning. That said you would be better off correcting the problem; if you do have issues with OBS or game capture at least you'll know why.
