will the ability to use obs with mac and Elgato be an option? or will it never happen?

That's a question you'll need to ask Elgato.

but they never respond back to emails, I've tried. on your side, can you guys ever see it happening? maybe you guys can ask? your voices will be heard a lot louder than ours and its a feature a LOT of people would love to see

They currently don't provide mac drivers. Don't email them again; emailing once is enough for them to have heard you out. In the mean time you can capture the window of their software.

i know that Jim, and I've done it from time to time. But we all know its not as good as being able to use it properly. hopefully something will be sorted in the future, I'm sure i speak for a lot of people. Hopefully Elgato can pull their fingers out

Perhaps when Syphon support is added, that could be a sufficient workaround. But as for native Mac drivers, that is 100% an Elgato issue. We can't write the drivers for them.
