Hello, the problem i'm having is that as soon as I start streaming or even just preview my stream in game I start lagging crazy.
I posted here a few weeks ago and somebody helped me by explaining my cpu couldn't handle it so I had to downscale wich I did and all my problems where fixed but now all of a sudden they returned and I do not know what to do.

I usually stream 'runescape'.

PC specs:
  • CPU: AMD Phenom lI X6 1100T 3.3GHz
  • Graphical: AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Windows 7 64-bit

Internet test:
Downloadspeed : 83.26 Mbps
Uploadspeed: 14.70 Mbps

logs:

There are two issues.

issue 1 is of course your CPU is slow which is probably why you needed to downscale. Even with downscaling your duplicate frames are still at 2.5% of which most of the issue is with the video thread. This brings me to issue 2

issue 2 your GPU is old and slow. downscaling is done on your GPU which in this case is shifting the issue to another part of your PC.

things to avoid. watching your own stream while your encode and game. don't watch your own stream because this will force your PC to decode as well

each game will run differently. some games run better with encoding, some games run worse.

long story short, your PC in general is not fast enough. at a minimum, I would recommend getting a new GPU. something like a R9 370/380 or an 950/960.

These GPUs also have the option for hardware encoding which isn't as good as x264 but will do better than what you are trying to do now.

your second option is to overclock or to get a new GPU and motherboard. I would recommend a minimum of an i5 for standard quality stream and an i7 for medium to high quality encodes.
