Question / Help In game lag when streaming on 60 FPS please help...

Hi guys I am having a issue with streaming on 60 fps I get ingame lag but no stream lag just ingame, When i stream on 30 fps I do not get any ingame lag.... Ive uploaded my log file... I feel like i have a decent pc and should be able to stream on 60 fps without any ingame lag. MY PC Specs i7 4790k 16gb ram, GTX Nvidia 970.. I also checked my temps and all temps are low or normal... Cpu temps 61... graphic card temps 58-60... Should this build be able to stream on 60 fps? The lag is once every 2-3 seconds and its constant the lag last for maybe a fraction of a second then goes away then comes back 2-3 seconds later and continues the same its almost like a stutter or a very tiny lag once every 2-3,2-4 seconds As soon as I restart OBS with 30 FPS it goes awat.. MY INTERNET connect is 90MB download 5.5-6 MB upload.... Please help me guys thank you so much... I have uploaded my LOG File also sometimes when streaming on 60 fps I get on OBS on bottom of OBS screen DROPPED FRAMES 0.06-0.08% dont know if that matters since its so little dosnt happen all the time only sometimes and when im on 60 FPS havent noticed any issue with it when im on 30 fps... So i guess my question is why am i having ingame lag on this build when i stream on 60 fps and is there anything I can do to make it better or is this build not capable of streaming on 60 fps also how do my settings look and is there anything I can do to improve my stream quality.. Thanks!

Also wanted to add normally I get 300-600 fps when not streaming but when streaming drops to 150-260 fps It seems I drop even more when streaming on 60fps rather then 30 fps....

It appears you may have another application hooking the program at the same time; if you're running anything like MSI Afterburner, Fraps, Overwolf, or other game-hook programs, try removing them.
Also seeing a number of 'new capture' messages in there; not sure if you were alt-tabbing out or exiting/re-starting the game, but it could be related if not.

Would recommend setting your base resolution to that of your monitor, and using the Downscale dropdown box in the video settings tab.
It would also be advised that unless you are a Twitch Partner, not to exceed 2000kbps to minimize buffering for your viewers. 720p@30fps, 2000kbps, x264 Veryfast (or slower) is the 'golden point' for non-partnered streams (or 480p@60fps, 2000kbps if the higher framerate is needed for a technical reason).

Beyond that, some framerate drop is to be expected, and is unavoidable without a 2PC setup. Framerates maintained above 100fps generally aren't considered to be worth troubleshooting as a problem, even if they are lower than non-streaming rate.

@FerretBomb I was told that unless you are a twitch partner you should not use above 3500 bitrate but 3000 bitrate should be fine right? Also I would like to stream at 60 fps for better quality I play FPS first person shooter games where there is a lot of fast movements CSGO is the game I play.. I feel like my build should be able to run 720p@60 fps right? Dont you think 720p @60 fps would look better then 720p@30fps or 480p@60fps? I figure if my pc can stream higher fps at 720p its better to do so right or wrong? Also I get 5.5 to 6 mb upload so a bitrate of 3000 should look good with my stream I think I read numerous places that for FPS games you need a higher bitrate of around 3000 and on OBS site i put in all my settings and specs and they said to use a bitrate of 3000.... Please let me know what you think about all of us.

Thank you <3 If anyone else has any input it would be greatly appreciated.

3500 is the max the ingests are rated to handle without technical faults.

Twitch released usage metrics a bit ago showing that most can watch smoothly at 2000kbps with minimal buffering. Even going to 2500 results in a significant increase. 3000 should absolutely be avoided; even exceeding 2000 is a bad idea, as it will make people more likely to buffer, and then leave.

No. 60fps is not necessary for FPS. In fact, it will be more detrimental if anything, given that FPSes are very high-motion games to begin with and so need a higher bits-per-pixel density to help minimize artifacting; one of the easiest ways to provide that is to reduce framerate, which will have a minimal effect on the overall stream. It won't look as smooth, but it's necessary while working within a realistic bitrate budget so that your video doesn't turn into a pixellated mess.

Don't get lost chasing numbers.

Hi Ferret.... I am really confused because everywhere I read on google/youtube video they all say a higher bitrate is better to use and always use 60fps over 30 fps it will look better on stream so I dont know what to do... I am not experincing lag anymore on 60 fps and I am sure my build can handle 60 fps and my ingame fps is at 200 so its fine.. If my build can handle 60 fps on obs and a bitrate of 3000 dont you think it will be better for the stream and the stream will look better? I also saw few OBS admins in older forums say that for FPS games a bitrate of 3000 is better and that 60fps in obs will be smoother.. But you dont agree? Please let me know because you say I will lose viewers as some people will not be able to watch stream without having lag issues but a bitrate of 3000 would mean they only need a download speed of 3MB ? So i dont see how it would be a big issue I want quality and smoothness on my stream I dont want it to look fuzzy or bad.. Please help Thanks... If anyone has any input or advice please give your thoughts.. Thank you...
