Question / Help In Game Lag when streaming (help)

Hi guys,

I am a pubg streamer and when I stream I have some sort of in-game lag where there is clear stutter and its very annoying.

I feel my PC is capable enough to stream and would imagine it shouldn't have any effect on the game at all and I want it so that when I play its the exact same as when I am not streaming.

My specs are below:
Asus Maximus x Hero (mobo)
Zotac 1080 Graphics card
Intel I7 8700k processor
16GB trident z 3200mhz RAM


I play on 1440p and my output resolution for streaming is 720p. I have 20mbps upload speed. When I stream I am still getting 144 FPS so its not just me having a lower FPS.

Please help me out if anyone knows the problem I am experiencing.

I use Streamlabs OBS do I have a log on there as well? If so where can I find it?

Streamlabs provides their own support for their version of OBS.

Got the same processor and had the same problem. (Mine is even OC’d) It is more then likely your cpu maxing out, especially if you’re streaming on medium/fast

Im now using OBS and not Streamlabs OBS and still getting that issue. How do I post my logs and I will show them?

Remove display capture sources from any scene where you use game capture.

What problems does having a display capture source and a game capture source under the same scene as I am new to this stuff?

I thought thats what you should do so when I am off the game then it will capture my screen

Having the display capture sources in the scene cause the sort of performance issues you're encountering right now.
