Sorry if this is a duplicate post but i recently acquired an elgato from a buddy of mine selling his original one for $80 so he can get the new elgato that released, however after setting up the elgato and the HDMI splitter box i managed to get the video working on the main OBS software(not the multiplatform version that's in beta) but everytime i test record it and save the file onto my PC the in game audio does not pick up and the only time it does is when my snowball mic is being recorded as it's near the TV. Does the Elgato not pick up the PS3 game audio even with the HDMI splitters? I'm at a loss, there's literally 3 HDMI cables being used: TV, PS3 and Elgato.
Now it could also be the settings but i've looked online and I swear I have everything correct based on other tutorials and still at a loss. Any help would be appreciated. :)
Edit: sadly whatever i did to get any in game audio is now lost. This is annoying
